Pia: I heard about the Ramathibodi alumni this evening, but I have something to do at home. I think that you will be our representative...this 3 days at rama is interesting (I can't join it because I am on duty at ER this month).
Note: Hi...I have new info from Royal Children's Hospital at Melbourne, Au in Endocrine about Fellowship. very intersting..may be I will apply for it.

Toy is somewhat stress...she will take practical test (anes room) next week and finish all exam by 15 June...then work as staff at rama with 6 month of no vacation allowed.
Ram: How about the work...I wait for both Matrix and Star Wars...last week I saw..She's all that..music is good and it's relaxing...; ) Take care

Yep, I was almost the only one joining that party. Luckily I met Nui (Pattaramon) and A (Hatairat) there. And more important than that, one of our classmate was on the stage that day as the leading actress in the cabaret-like show. Guess who???.... hehehehe... yeh...Pah Moo+ (Kesaraporn). She was wearing the sexy night gown and lip-sing in a country song... very impressive. I'll try to get her pics and upload to our website.
The party was going on quite well. Started at 7.30pm with the dean's speech, followed by several songs from our staffs e.g. Acharn Wiwat (ortho) sang "Chai Loei", Acharn Prakit sang an english song, etc. After that, there was an announcement of the successful ramathibodi alumni awards, one medical doctor (radiologist) from US and one nurse (rama staff), followed by games, show from medical students and also the residents' show where Pah Moo+ performed her best. I'm thinking whethere we should cancel our next Rama 25 meeting and join this alumni meeting instead. To save our cost and also help the alumni as well. What do you think?

Pia...I gave pat's pics via pii Vith..a diskette.., I gave the HP printer to my dad office and buy new Epson640...I play it with my nephew ..a sticker ..she want to set up the sticker business at her school and I 'm the ..HOOON SUan..too ..ha ha.

Poo: I think any fellowship is a good idea and I love australia ,It's such a beautiful country! I wish I could live there. But to tell the truth doing fellowship there is the same as in England because It's the same system if you have time I think you should try here in the USA.
For Endocrine ,p' Nan I think it's your cousin girlfriend or used to be (chula) is doing fellowship at NIH, I can ask Tack for her email.
Toy and ong you guys will be ok, Thai residents are better than US...I'm so not ready for my boards!

Well surprise I leave a messege again !
Listen well read this and tell me what do you guys think, A 50-60 years old male with end stage liver disease admit to the hospital with Upper GI bleeding of course from cirrhosis. He was in Liver failure and nothing you can do about that unless liver transplant.He was in hepatic encephalopathy and the doctors all give up about him. He developed focal siezure his family call a nurse and try to contact a resident or fellow on call but they all said he's gonna died not even bother to come and take a look ,leave a frighten family try to contact somebody to do something!
this is happening in one of the famous University hospital in Bangkok. I don't know what you think about this. I think any live even though going to die deserve to die peacefully ,at least give the damn ativan.

Note: I agree with you. Anyway, don't be frustrated with that, if you've been working outside BKK you'll know that the events like this case are somewhat frequently happening. I called it the "communication problem" together with the "Ignorance" of the responsible doctor. Nevertheless, it's the "Systems failure" that makes physicians in Thailand have very limited time for individual patients' care and more importantly without any accountabilty and quality assurance. Sorry for being too serious.... It's improving every passing day, I believe.
Ong+: How's the life in the general hospital there? Hope they're not using you until you've no time to prepare for the exam.
Ram: You're very quiet these days. How're you going on with your directorship?
